Preheat oven to 400°F.
Measure tapioca in a bowl.
In pan, bring coconut milk, butter and coconut nectar to a simmer (do not boil.) Pour into tapioca, mix, and wait 5min.
Mix in egg until sticky dough forms, then mix in shredded coconut.
Shape into 1" balls.
Bake 15-20 min.
