    1.5 tsp baking soda 6.9g
    1 cup milk 244g
    2 eggs, room temp 88g
    2/3 cup vegetable oil 146.06g
    2 tsp vanilla extract 8.4g

    1 cup salted butter, softened 227g
    4 cups powdered sugar 480g
    1/2 cup cocoa powder 43g
    1 tsp vanilla extract 4.2g

CUPCAKES: Preheat oven to 350°F. Line tins. Separately, whisk dry ingredients and wet ingredients, then whisk together to combine. Fill cups with thin batter 2/3 full. Bake 20min. FROSTING: Beat butter until creamy. Add sugar, cocoa, then vanilla, scraping down sides until fully combined. Add milk in 1tbsp increments until icing is just soft enough to spread.
