Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, mix bread crumbs with milk and let soak.
Chop onion, celery, and carrot in small pieces. Fry them in butter until onion is soft. Add stock and cook until carrot is soft.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and thyme. Let cool.
In milk and breadcrumb bowl, mix beef, pork, pressed garlic, and egg until well incorporated. Add the fried vegetables.
Pack into a loaf pan and spread ketchup on top.
Bake 1.5 hrs until inside temperature reads 155F. Let stand 10 min. before serving.
